Bruce Conner (1933–2008) gilt heute als einer der Wegbereiter für den Musikclip und gehört
mit seinen Experimentalfilmen neben Stan Brakhage, Jack Smith, Jonas Mekas und Andy
Warhol zu den grossen Avantgardisten des US-Independentfilms.

John Maeda ist Grafik-Designer sowie Informatiker und befasst sich seit Jahren mit der
Verknüpfung von Gestaltung und Technologie. Für seine Animationen entwickelte er eigene
Software-Tools. Maeda lehrt seit 1996 am MIT Media Lab und ist Präsident der Rhode Island
School of Design.
